What’s in the Checklist

1. Dimensions
- Length and width of each area, measured at the baseboards.
- Note any columns, alcoves, doorways, or raised platforms.
- For BJJ/Judo: add 2′ perimeter if you can.
- Take photos of each corner.
2. Colors
- Pick one base color. Too many colors raises cost.
- Know your brand hex codes.
- Request physical samples before committing.
3. Texture
- Tatami — BJJ/Judo grip, gi-safe.
- Dappled — comfortable, subtle grip.
- Smooth — rubber gym surface.
4. Wall Mats — Yes or No? Where?
- Full-wall, half-wall, or none per wall.
- Don’t forget columns (we wrap them).
- Standard 6′ tall, 1.25″ thick.
5. Logos — Where?
- Main logo centered on the floor.
- Wall mats: centered on each panel.
- Size: 5′ × 5′ default.
- Send logo as SVG or 300+ DPI PNG.
6. Delivery Window (Most Important)
Lead time from approval to doorstep:
- West Coast: 6 weeks
- Middle US: 8 weeks
- Atlantic Coast: 10 weeks
All subject to seasonal ocean-freight fluctuations.
